Why do non-Christians reject the Bible, a book containing prohesies that have come...

...true throughout history...? ... yet adhere to the notion that there is no Christ, something that cannot be proved? I mean, it's our eternity we're talking about here. We can't imagine 500,000,000 years, and eternity is longer than that. Wouldn't it make sense to trust God, who has given us prophesies that have come to pass (the re-creation of Israel in 1947, for one), rather than following the belief that there is no God nor is there an afterlife - something that you will only know for certain once you're dead?

I understand that militant non-Christianism is the trend lately, but trends come and go. God has never left. Honestly, many of the non-Christians here are Satan-loving, but I wouldn't wish eternal separation from God on my worst enemy.
