"AP-Univision Poll: Immigration splits Americans"
Uh, no. Hispanics are not as against illegals as non-hispanics.
Americas are overwhelmingly in favor of enforcing immigration laws and Arizona's new law.
"The poll, conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, found that 59% said they approved of Arizona’s new illegal immigration law while 32% disapproved."
73% of Americans approve of requiring people to show documents to prove nationality.
67% approve of police detaining anyone who can't provide documentation.
Democrats (Liberals) are split on Arizona's law while Republicans (Conservatives) overwhelmingly approve of it.
So America is not "split" over illegal immigrants. We are overwhelmingly against it.
Hispanics are "split" on it.
