Why do my knees hurt when jogging, but not when doing other sports? Are there

exercises to strenghen them? I've had pain in my knees (especially my right knee) for the past 6 months, more or less around the same time I started jogging regularly. I've been playing basketball for about 10 years and also do various other sports, but I never have these knee pains. I've come to realize that I cross my right leg under my left one while sitting at my desk at work. Could that be a source? Are there special knee exercises for people who jog regularly? I've lost 10kg in the past 6 months exercising more regularly and especially eating healthy, I thought the pain was due to my weight (now 69kg for 1,69 meters), but eventhough I've lost all that weight it still bothers me...and I've never had knee injuries (although I've sprained or broken my ankles about 20 times in total). Any advice?
