Why do my fish do this or is it normal?

I have 4 goldfish in a tank (obviously!). Its a pretty large tank big enough for more than 4 goldfish easily.

But i was wondering, is there any reason that all 4 of them will crowd in the top right hand corner of the fish tank like there is food there? They don't always do it but often ill catch them all up in the top corner like they're pushing eachother out of the way for food.. Is it something fish just do, or is it something they do because somethings not right?
 
I would check your water with a test kit, could be something going on not visible to your eyes
 
Are they gasping at the surface? They might not have enough air, or the water pressure might be too high.

Although it might also be that they think there is food there, or one fish see's something interesting, and the rest think it's something like food and try to get to it. If they're not doing it all the time you probably don't have a problem, maybe try scrubbing that corner of the tank when you clean it next.
