1) On the index and middle fingers of my right hand, the free edge gets a slight bend in it as it grows out.
2) The nails on my left hand grow faster even though I'm right-handed.
3) The nail bed grows shorter (farther from end of finger) if I use a scraping tool to clean under my nails. If I go a while using only a nail brush, the nail bed eventually becomes longer, reaching nearly to fingertip.
4) The nail's free edge on my index fingers is much more translucent than that of the other fingers.
