Why do most US Liberals who whine about "war crimes" only focus on the USA?

Not one peep about Hitler, Pol Pot, Saddam's and many other crimes against Humanity....NOPE, just blame the big ole evil empire of the USA. Well?
And whats more amazing is that these liberals THINK we stoop to the behavior of these evil dictators. Very sad!

Communists will not drag the "sins" of other communists into the light, they will only try to smear the free countries of the world - and the USA still ranks #1 in that division ( for now)

They refuse to acknowledge Saddam using chemical weapons on and killing 300,000 Kurds, who were his very own citizens. My only answer is their hatred for Bush has gotten so severe that they have been reduced to the "blame America first" mentallity.

Because I don't live in 1936 Germany, or 1970s Cambodia. Were not the world police. We should stop acting like it.

Because who has time to worry about those nobodies when Nike and Coca-Cola are exploiting poor Asian children?!

I'm not sure
but if you are going to talk about what's wrong you should always start at home first

My grandma used to say
clean your house first then worry about the next

Maybe they are focused on where they live and not other parts of the world

Because they're incapable of logic and reason. Why are we the only country that tolerates this bs behavior on their part?

And you've taken your information about the opinion of US Liberals from which poll?
What's that? Oh...your own PERSONAL poll. A VERY accurate and unbiased source of information, indeed.

I say because they feel that is a way they can build support among those who are trampled by the government hoping to build support among those who are against the "man". Also if they really feel there are war crimes here they should move to the middle east or maybe west africa and see how bad it is there where innocent people are killed everyday by warlords or martyrs.

We're in the 21st century now.

Sad but true: Saddam was "good" in the 80s. Saudis are "good" now.

The Soviets are to be congratulated on the effectiveness of their KGB agents; to this day America's universities churn out the product of their endeavors

The U.S.A. and it's war crimes is the business of every citizen. If there are war crimes in another country. It is up to them to take care of it.

Liberals want American to be the best country it can be. The best way to do that is to always question and challenge our politicians and government officials. If we get complacent, then America falters as it has under conservative dominion the past 8 years. If we want to claim the moral high ground, we must ensure that we are in fact moral.

So untrue, in fact, when we 'whine' about war crimes in places like Tibet and Darfur Neocons still laugh.

If you had listened to us whining about humanitarian aid in Afghanistan after we fought off the Russians we wouldn't have laid the groundwork for Al-Qeada to take up shop.

Because we can only fix our own behavior. Hitler is dead, so are Pol Pot and Saddam. And if we stoop to the kind of behavior that they did, doesn't that make us as bad as them?

We are supposed to be the 'good guys'. I hope we can get back to that.

Waterboarding? How about holding people for years with no due process? How soon you forget.
