A lot of people have washers, but almost no one has a dryer. This seems very strange to me. It's very inefficient to air dry your laundry, especially if you don't have a backyard. What makes things even worse is that it rains a lot in England. What if you're depending on having a certain shirt dry and available to you on a certain day?
