The media portrays it as bad. They make it look like WW3 in Iraq and Afghanistan. My friends who are serving or have served (I have not because I need 15 college credits) and deployed to either of those places, say it was nothing like how it is portrayed. People get information from the media, so suddenly it looks like the worst possible idea on Earth. You have to make the choice for you, and I wish you the best of luck it whatever you decide.
