I understand that an atheist does not believe that any supernatural entity exists, and therefore scientific laws and principles are all that remains.
The problem I have is that some atheists expect the response from a theist to be scientific in nature as well, as if a theist believes that nothing else exists either.
Most if not all theists don't hold a belief in their religion based solely on the notion that they have extensively looked at ALL science, and having solved all the issues between it and their faith, have logically concluded that religion holds more weight.
It is a matter of emotions, and your "heart", at a time when it could be least expected.
An atheist response would be to say that all religion is the same, just people separated by geography and cultural background.
I would say it is not logical to just use that as a reason alone to avoid the topic altogether, and conclude the whole thing is made up and subject to ridicule.
Personally, I have tried other religions, Jesus spoke to me first, and so I have no reason to look any further for my proof.
I'm a Christian, and so all I can do is say how the Bible says you can find God, and share how other Christians and myself have found him, and if you are unwilling to listen or try, and only science is left, then we are at an impasse, in which only an encounter with Christ will convince.
I'm sure I misspelled a word or wrote a sentence that somebody might make fun of me for, but the overall writing is clear nonetheless.
All this was a rant, the question is at the beginning.
