I mean, I'm not saying they should be sentenced to life in prison but a slap on the wrist doesn't do much except show the kids they can get away with whatever as long as they're under 18. I'm just thinking about this, because a couple of 13 & 14yr olds set fire to an apartment building earlier last week, and because of the location of the building, the fire also caught on to a couple of the businesses on the main street, including a friend of mine's mother's hair salon. The buildings are scorched.
The kids are getting a slap on the wrist and nothing more. People could have been killed .. at 13 and 14 you're well aware of what you're doing. I think they need harsher punishments on the kids and parents need to parent a little better. What do you think, Parenting Category ?
