I am using XP Pro, and my sound card is Xtreme PCI Audio by Creative, the midi audio is set to the default Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth, but when I play a midi file, it sounds choppy or faltering as it plays. Any ideas on what to do to correct this. It doesn't matter if I play through Windows Media Player or Winamp, same result.
