Why do mexican men stare and smile weird at you?

I'm not racist at all (My husband is black) I just had a question, I live in Sherman,TX and yes there is alot of mexican families here (not a bad thing) I was just wondering why the men always seem to be staring at women with a weird grin on their faces? I understand looking at a woman and smiling cause you may think they are attractive, but to do it so intensly just has me puzzled?
didn't I say i'm not a racist laurr? are you freaking stupid or can't you read?? I'm married to a BLACK MAN!!!!! god sometimes........
 
Because they find them attractive...some people don't know how to be discrete *btw i'm hispanic so i know what you mean*

Probably because their picturing you being naked then are raping you with their eyes.
 
Staring is normal everywhere but our country. It's not considered rude to stare at someone and hold it for a minute. I experienced that overseas, maybe it's the same for mexicans. I can't explain the strange grin, maybe he is thinking all kinds of naughty thoughts and isn't affraid to grin about it. I say smile back, it's just as creepy.
 
I live in Los Angeles and there are many Mexicans here also. I don't know what it is. Some of them are just plain out PERVS! as I have discovered many times. I was picking up my 14 yr old causin from school and I notices a couple 40-50somthing year old mexican men whistling, muttering things in spanish and staring at my causin. Flipped me out!!! Some of them are just nice and smile, maybe it's just their way of looking and your not used to it.
 
It's a cultural difference. They are behaving in a normal way for Mexican culture. It creeps you out because you are not Mexican.

In the middle east, you would creep out most men by looking them in the eye. What would it mean? Nothing. It means you are being a normal American.
 
I'm Mexican American and I know what you mean. I've visited Mexico and my Aunt tells me its just their way of letting you know they like you. They haven't been taught how to approach a girl. You'll find this in the poor, or the farmers etc... In the middle and higher class area's like for example parts of Mexico city you wont get this from more educated Mexican Men. A lot of the Mexican guys you see in America are here to find a better way of life they come from poor families and they are usually not college educated.

That's a pretty rude question. And maybe they think you're attractive, it's not like an inherent Mexican characteristic. Lots of men do that!
 
They haven't learned the proper way to flirt with a woman so they do it the old fashioned way and look like hound dogs. personally it gives me the creeps and its rude.
