why do men fall asleep after sex?

Usually it is the other way around, and my girlfriend is the one who passes out. But maybe because its late out? Or maybe because he's doing all the work?

perhaps out of 'habit'? maybe they learned to please themselves in the bed in the dark when alone at the time that they go to bed or when theyre very tired or that helps them to fall asleep.

why dont you have sex somewhere other than the bed and during a time when they dont normally go to sleep?
