Did you ever think about the fact that women always ask for equal rights, yet they retain the rights they had when everything wasn't 'equal' (eg. in the early-mid 1900s). (most) Women still expect to be: paid for on dates; not be hit in a fight and be politely spoken to, among other things.
Now for scenario... A woman is cheating on her husband of five years (who is still devoted to her and loves her). She wants a way to divorce him so that she doesn't have to pay him alimony, as she earns more that he does. She decides to say that he has hit and abused her -- who would the courts believe? The WOMAN 90% of the time.
I have a lot more to say, but I wanted to get my point across first.
Please don't take offence to this -- I'm all for women having the same rights as men, but I hate the fact that they choose in which ways they want to be equal.
