Why do many people who disagree with homosexuality call it a 'lifestyle'?

It's not really any different from anyone elses way of life except for who they are romantically attracted to. That's basically the only difference. They don't hibernate in the ground or dance around bonfires summoning up ancient spirits. The reason I use those examples is because people act like gay people live completely different lives from the rest of us heterosexuals. Not true. My gay friends pay taxes, work for a living, have their ups and downs, and bleed the color red like the rest of us so I don't know why people assume that the way they live their lives is any different from the way we live our lives.

The only real difference is who they are attracted to, and what they do in the privacy of their own bedrooms is not and will never be anyone elses business but theirs so why concern yourself with that? Do you not have your own life to think about so you must obsess over someone else?

How the fudge is two men or two women loving each other life threatening? Why because they can't 'reproduce' and add more people to our already over-populated world? Well they can reproduce actually, it's called Artificial Insemination. Deal with it. Drama Queen much?

Fake children??? Well now there's an ignorant way to look at it! And honestly, the more adopted children, the better. We have all these people wanting to reproduce and bring more people into the world but what about all those poor children in adoption agency's who would like to have a family??? What about them?

Did you even read a word I said? God why are you people so determined to fill the world up with more people when we are already over-populated as it is? Why not adoption? And I have many friends who were raised by same sex parents and they turned out fantastically! Better than me infact and I was raised by two heterosexual parents. Take that!

There's just huge amounts of misinformation...lots of them think it's all about anal sex. Even if you happen to be lesbian. Now, first of all, not all gay men have anal sex, and practically no lesbians do. But lots of straight couples do. So the argument is ridiculous.

But even worse than that, why do they instantly think of the sexual activity and overlook the fact that two people have naturally fallen in love and happen to be the same sex? Some homophobes are just unbelievable - they'll say that it isn't actually love at all, just lust. Makes you sick how ignorant they can be.
