Why do libraries put books in alphabetical order by author's last name, but...?

Why do libraries put books in alphabetical order by the author's last name, but stores don't put movies in alphabetical order by the producer's last name?
 
because a in a library the book is listed by the author and in stores selling movies, selling movies the producer is thought of more than the original other.
