Why do liberals think Cap and Trade, and Health Care Reform won't hurt businesses?

It's kind of hard as a business in a tough time to want to hire people when:

You're being taxed on giving off CO2 emissions.

Health Care will be mandatory to provide to people on your payroll or face a fine.

Both scenarios effect the cost-of-production. Liberals need to read that. When you effect the cost-of-production. You're either A) Going to make them reduce the size of their company to avoid cost, or B) Survive by passing that cost to the consumer. Which is all of us.

Come on liberals why do you want two business bashing policy's in a bad economy?
 
First off, why are businesses so special that human welfare should be lessened to make it easier for them?

Second, taxes and regulations have virtually no effect, despite everything you hear, on where companies locate. If taxes and regulations were the only factor in determining location of companies, there would be no companies in Europe, they would all be in Third World countries. They aren't though are they? They are still here. The only reason why the manufacturing jobs left were because of NAFTA.

It is libertarian free market ideology that is killing the industrial base of the United States, not environmental regulation.
 
liberals usally don't know much, even if they went to Harvard and got master degrees that just means they are good at taking tests, you know study and it all goes in and then it all goes right out. like how al bundy and kelly bundy can only retain a certain amount of facts in there heads.
 
If it doesn't work, you can always try to undo what we have done when you get back in power.

That is, IF you ever get back in the driver's seat again. LOL.
 
It will hurt those business who destroy the environment for profit, and it will hurt businesses that think their employees don't deserve health insurance.

I'm fine with that. Those are exactly the people who should pay.

Because liberals are genuises:

They've invented the tax increase that costs nothing, and the business expense that never gets passed onto customers.

If only the rest of us were so smart.
