like the traditions of the American Indian, Maasai African tribes, Islam - which peaked in influence several hundred years ago, cultures that have survived for hundreds of years by "clinging" to their tradtions with no progress....but they call the traditional Americans, whose values and culture made America - rednecks, white trash, bible thumpers. Hypocrisy ? More anti-Americanism ? Demoralization ?

Why do liberals pretend to admire and respect the traditions of other cultures....?

1. I think it is because it is different. (simple yeah)
2. Often times those other cultures are more open to people than regular white culture of America.
3. As a black person, sometimes I feel uncomfortable with "traditional" Americans. While not overtly racist, I do find that we have some cultural clashes that are sometimes very sensitive.

They look down on traditional notions that are western, but, love to admire other "traditional" cultures.
It is because they think they are wise in appreciating others, and, cannot see that their own lack of faith is a weakness.
