Its not a matter of controlling the media. It's journalists. They tend to be more liberal because of the schools where they learn. The whole institution becomes more left leaning. Then along comes fox news who decides they will capture a larger portion of the market by taking the conservative view.

Most of us watch Fox. 48% of us DID NOT vote for 0bama. We're not all stupid. And 0bama's numbers continue to fall every day. There is still a chance for REAL hope.

It's sort of like a private club; you can't usually make it in that environment unless you're liberal because all the higher-ups are liberal. I've heard Lars Larson describe it that way. He worked as a news anchor in my state and eventually left it for talk radio.
