Why do Liberals complain about Bush's spending, but don't mind that Obama is

spending twice as much? When Bush entered office the debt was: $5,728,195,796,181.57.
When Bush left office the debt was: $10,628,881,485,510.23.

The debt is currently at $13,177,644,774,581.63

Obama's budgets are projected to add $9.75 trillion to the debt.

By 2020 the debt is projected to be $20.3 trillion

Is this better? Does this make up for Bush's spending?

(Notice how it has already increased $3 Trillion since Obama took office...)

Alright, so spending in general is bad, no matter what is being spent on? That's basically what you're saying. You're saying the numbers are all that matters. My argument is that what is being spent on is more worthwhile under Obama than under Bush. You might disagree on that. If you do, why don't you spend time on that instead? Simply quoting numbers doesn't prove anything except that you keep track of them and not what they're going to.

Since Obama took office? How could I ever afford three trillion dollars? Even though I am the President of the United States of America, there are limits. Don't think that I am to blame for all your mistakes. The people do the spending more than me.

Notice the reasons *why* Obama has had to spend what was spent in order to save this country from total collapse?

No, I don't think you do.

See, if Bush had stuck to his guns of 'fiscal responsibility'--like he promised--we wouldn't HAVE to spend all this extra money bailing out Wall Street and then the country!

Oh, but wait...

Bush didn't care about spending us into a hole to the tune of $7.5 trillion dollars over 8 years (it's on the record).

He wanted everything and the Republican Party rubber-stamped his spending bills without batting an eye.

Only *now* are the Republicans COMPLAINING about the deficit. Only NOW they are making such a big fuss over it.

But when they were in control and spending all of us out of house and home--since they had the *majority*--?

THEY DIDN'T CARE ONE IOTA.
