Why do liberals assume that Conservatives have no education?

Only because as a group conservatives have been trying to fight science for a long time. Subjects such as the OZone layer, global warming and climate changes, greenhouse gases etc....
 
I've seen it several times in responses on this board. I have also mentioned several times that I have a Masters Degree in Engineering. My wife has a PhD - we are both conservative. Many Wall street executives (that liberals all hate) are conservative and have MBA's or higher.

Most union workers are uneducated or unskilled labor that make up a large portion of the liberal democrat base. So which one side is more educated?

What would Socrates say about this generalization? I think he'd say they are using a fool's argument.
 
Liberals assume they are always correct and that their way of thinking is unquestionably easy and logical. Therefore they assume that if you do not think like they do then you must be uneducated or stupid.

Half the fun is watching liberals panic then you point out the many flaws in their logic.

Want to have fun with a liberal? Put them in a round room and tell them there is a gay, oppressed, minority taxpayer in the corner. It'll keep them busy for hours.
 
Liberals! tham democrats.Who cares what they think,if 20 of e'm say all cars should be red then they make it a law,and will give u bs because youre cars are blue.When I go to california a liberal state, now I need a high school diploma to wash cars.I have one but is still ridiculous where as arizona a conservative state. doesn't matter, as long as youre an honest hard worker it's just some examples from where i've traveled.Liberals are pretty bulgar.You don't want to be like them.
 
This is actually a good question. In our society, stereotypes abound - especially where there are 2 ideologically polarized sides: few folks want to believe that his or her opponents in a heated battle of ideologies are normal, rational, thoughtful human beings who just happen to have a different view of life than they do.... it is much easier to demonize and dehumanize one's opponents in the more "heated" battles in life: that makes it easier to believe that they are right and their sub-human, sub-worthy adversaries are wrong!! It also makes it easier to ignore their point of view :-+). Progressives (the "PC" word for "liberals") therefore like to to view conservatives as ignorant, easily-duped rednecks, while conservatives are prone to regarding their more progressive antagonists as privileged, over-educated ivy-tower elitists fools. In truth, most progressives have a dual view of "conservatives": they divide them into the wealthy, self-serving elite conservatives on top, who are very intelligent and able to pull the wool over the eyes of many of the "ignorant", gullible masses, and then there are the duped masses who have been convinced by the wealthy elite business tycoons, to vote against their best interests (as in huge tax cuts for said wealthy business elite....). Another reason that "liberals" like to belittle "conservatives" (the terms are pretty abstract: most people are a blend of the two seemingly polar opposites, depending upon the topic involved) is because there is a very vocal, noisy subset of (mostly social) conservatives who always seem to be angry about something - and angry people almost always say really stupid things sooner or later!!

Government Statistics prove overwhelming lack of education of the majority of Liberal Democrats.

Conservatives, Republicans and Independents are not only more educated...they have logic and common sense on their side.
 
Most liberals with advanced degrees find their way into academia since they don't fit well into society. Pretty soon they are tenured and we pay them forever to produce papers on global warming, veganism and saving the Arizona Spotted Blue Cactus Toad.

I just live with their smugness and superiority because if it wasn't for them, we'd have to teach the soft-headed college kids ourselves. Can you imagine? No wonder the liberal elite seem so angry all the time.

Socrates wouldn't be able to explain liberals so he'd defer to Sophocles who would say that watching liberals gave him the idea for the Oedipus Trilogy.
