Why do I see images and visions in my mind when I try to sleep after taking Extasy?

I have taken extasy two times and each time when I try to sleep I see images in my mind. They are fast and realistic. The first time I kept seeing cartoons and the second time I saw real life images. They do not scare me and I don't believe they are real. I am just wondering what is the scientific/chemical reason for this?

Also, I am well aware of the bad stuff about drugs. Don't try to tell me all the negatives, i am simply wanting to know the reason for these images.
 
I am glad that you are aware about all of the bad stuff in taking this kind of drug, it is too bad that you do not pay attention to what you have learned. Then you would know the answer to your own question. Personally, I will not honor such a question, it would only add to your addiction. I hope your images do not become more of a reality.
