why do I repeatedly get ill?

This last year, I have been getting continuous colds, coughs, sore throats etc. Before this year I rarely got ill, although from the beginning of this year I seem to pick up illnesses almost every month, and find it hard to shift these illnesses. Along with the illnesses it follows with inner ear congestion. This is really affecting my studies because I am continuously feeling tired. Could somebody please help me understand why I am continuously getting ill??? what are the reasons for these repetative illnessses, and what can I do to prevent them? Thanks

I just posted under cold and flu......i am the exact same way but i do take my C and have been sick pretty much solid aside from a week or 2 between each illness since September.. hope someone has suggestions!!

Ya me too ladies! It's very frustrating. I keep catching colds from the 3rd grade school kids where I work. I am very frustrated. I picked up some vitamin C that everyone was recommending that I do. Hang in there. I know some of us are more suseptable.

You need to double or triple the dosage. If it 1x a day.
make it 2 or 3x per day. It is proven even in my friends and family.
Hoping it will be effective to you. Get well soon. There's no harm
of many vit. c in our body especially when we ill.

In the US, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) said the 2008-2009 cold and flu season is gonna be a bad one. I assume it's the same for the UK and elsewhere.

The best thing to boost the immune system is regular non-strenuous exercise, like taking a long walk everyday or swimming. Probably because it reduces stress and chronic stress is a big drain on the immune system.
