Why do I load games slowly?

Why do I load online games (maps/servers) slowly like world of tanks, call of duty online, etc
my computer specs are:
AMD Athlon 7850 Dual-Core Processor
2.81 Ghz
2.00 GB of RAM
and a ATI Radeon 4890 HD Series
and my computer holds 160GB with 29.7GBs left
Please tell me how to fix this because I am sick of getting into games when they already start!
