why do i keep having this weird pressure tingly sensation in my right ear?

sometimes it hurts, the pressure builds up then a cold tingly sensation comes and the pressure goes away and leaves a cold sensation behind, this comes and goes every few minutes all day for months now, i went to the doc there was no sign of infection, and the doc said he didnt know what it was??? It is driving me mad!!
and no i am not a cell phone addict!!!
 
Ok so I'm gathering you know about mobile phones - are you a mob phone addict? And second, if its that bad and the doc has no idea then ask for a referral to an ear nose and throat specialist to get it checked out properly.
