im 15 coming 16 soon and recently ive been gettin Really bad mood swings,,, and i just get in bad moods and i dont know why, these mood swings are really bad recently for some reason and they are worse than my friends mood swings...
i just feel really fed up, my life atm is rather boring, cause i got lots of exams and stuff and i never get out anymore. and i feel really angry at people and they havent even annoyed me or anything, and i get in those moods where i wanna just be left alone

I've tried changing my Diet , like not eating junk food, and eating healthier and it doesnt seem to be changing anything (i was told to try it)

it seems to get worse when i'm ready to get my period, which im gonna have in the next couple of days... so i'm actually in a mood atm. and i accidentally took it out on my mum, ive appologised to her and all, but i hate talking back to her, its not the way i was raised.. and appologising made me get emotional, lol, probably sounds ridiculous but its whats happening.

Can someone help me...

Greatly Appreciated
Xx

Your body is made up of chemicals and any slight imbalance can knock you off kilter.. Chemical Imbalance.. try Web MD for more info on that. GL and BTW I have found that prayer helps. I have a checmical imbalance but God is more powerful than it.

hi

what youve said looks what is called 'premenstrual syndrome'.It is also called 'premenstrual tension'

dont worry,it is normal before periods

Avoiding caffeine, tobacco, too much sodium and taking vitamin B helps.

Also go for foods rich in magnesium, calcium and manganese

More than likely it's your hormones. I remember being your age and just feeling down and depressed at moments and then on top of the world at other times. My mood swings were horrible. I have always had horrible PMS. When it is time for my period no one wants to be around me because I am just impossible to please and I am angry all the time about everything. I would suggest you try working out and becoming physically active if you aren't already. I know it sounds silly but working out releases endorphines which are the body's natural anti-depressants. I hate working out. I mean, I hate it, but I do it more for the emotional benefit rather than the physical benefit. You are too young for anti-depressant medication and it is probably just a phase you are going through so try working out or taking a walk every day and see if it makes you feel better. Good Luck!

Yep it is partly your age and the hormone thing, You can speak with your doctor who may be able to get you some help. It may be that you ae suffering more than 'normal' and nee meds and/or counseling. Can't hurt.

We are all human, and being human means we are prisoners to our bodies and their little friends called hormones.Nothing will help but exercise will help you fell better.
