After sleeping and I wake up around six-ish, sometimes I have this odd numb sensation in my leg. When I go to move it, it tingles so badly I can't move it and then i have to wait for the pain to subside. Is there any way to prevent this? I think it happens because I sleep facing down, and when i wake up my leg is stretched out and beside my stomach (hard to describe).

you're cutting off circulation to your leg. If you're doing this in your sleep, it will be difficult to correct. you might try something creative with pillows packed in such a way that prevents you from moving your leg that way, if possible.

I have dealt with the same problem just as you have; except I have only experienced it with my arms. The reason why my arm would be so numb and tingly in the morning is because it turned out that i would tuck it under my head and sleep on it all night. The same thing may be happening to you: the positioning of your leg(s) may be causing your bodyweight to stay on it throughout the night; thus causing numbing. This problem is very hard to treat because even though you may hop into bed in a position where you think you're ending the problem, you have no control over your body when you are asleep. The least you can do is giving re-positioning a try.
