Why do I get nauseous when I smell good cooking?

I recently got a job as a dishwasher for a local food restaurant. It's a high class restaurant that serves seafood and other exquisite foods. I hate seafood with a passion, so this might be the reason. Whenever I'm washing dishes or smell the smell of the cooking area, I get nauseous. Today was the most severe case, it started off with a headache than my stomach starting feel squeemish than I vomitted. Anyone know the reasoning for this?

Actually the food could be triggering your stomach and telling it its hungry. Your stomach is like a gas tank in the car. When you turn the ignition on the gas starts being used up. The ignition is your acid in your stomach and the parts of food that are left are the gas. When the gas runs out your car stops so when you run out of the bit of food that was in your stomach your acid in the stomach is too strong for your lining which is making your nauseous because it is eating away at the lining which can make you vomit too. Your pretty much vomiting up the fluids and acids in your stomach. I bet if you started eating more and having little snacks here and there you won't vomit anymore. Since you work in the back keep crackers in your pocket and you have a chance nibble on a few. Also eat before you go to work.

Maybe your allergic to something they're cooking...
