Why do I get mad everyday about something? Is this normal or do I need to get...

...educated about life? Today I found out I was being charged $280. cause I had my taxes done by someone. A friend works in an office for an accountant I am aquainted with. I looked up my last year fee & it was $75. & now I am angry I was so careless. Actually, I was mad at that tax preparer cause my son had to pay $100 extra for something that was late because of the preparer....so what is mentally going on with me...also, I have a handyman business & while I feel we give people a lower price than most. Many people give us big tips....so what is going on in my mind...I don't like being angry like I am right now...I do see it as a sign I have to change something...I guess I need to pay attention to cost rather than just trusting people.

You do !! Notice,,what you become angry about is money and business dealings..At least with regard to your question..Regardless,,your trying too hard to be successful at whatever your attempting,,and your not taking the time to analyze the problem thoroughly BEFORE you act..You can sometimes get away with that on occasion,,but it will eventually catch up with you..Premeditate your decisions,,and think and research them before acting..Too,,rush judgment is always another way to go wrong.. If its in your social life also,, before you act,,do two things,,ask yourself if YOU would like to be treated as you are treating this person,,then act accordingly..Secondly,,Is the situation worth ''going to war'' (an old banking term) over.. If it is,,stick to your guns,,if not,,keep your composure,,and take the high ground.. Regardless,,you can probably see where this is going..YOU pause,,analyze the situation,,and THEN react.. Big difference,,YOUR in control,,and master of the situation AND the outcome..With regard to MONEY,, EVERY situation is important..And always make it clear to whomever your dealing with.."This is your chance to do business with me,,treat me badly or poorly,,and you'll not get a second chance!!" And DO JUST THAT !! Your success will be guaranteed !! Good Luck !! But you won't need it !! SOLOMON

You make mistakes, like we all do , but you are very hard on yourself. Perhaps you are a perfectionist. But that tax man sounds like he ripped you off. It's ok to be angry when someone does bad things to you.

ah shucks there goes the fun, I won't agree with the trust side of economics. Developing an higher education only gives you a more broader area to use in the frustration episodes. Why not look into what you are expecting from yourself. Too high of a unreachable standard could be the key to some of the problems you encounter. Handy-man business now that's a delight to hear you guys still exist, in 1979 I had originated the first Hire-a-Handy-Man business in the tri-county area of my residence and notably just as you mentioned the lower state of pay and here you may trust and hope, while still trying to survive in the modern facets of the 21st century.

Oh, sweetie your answer is in your last sentence. You're probably mad at yourself for not asking what the cost would be, and my guess is that you feel like somehow you were cheated. Chalk it up to lesson learned and let go. Work on the feeling cheated part, it maybe playing a role in your anger. x x x
