...transfer student? I want to transfer from my university to another but my aid is cut from thousands of dollars to about a few hundred dollars. Why? I am still a good student and my income isn't any different, I'm just thinking about going to school in another state.
 
It could be several reasons... 1.) the tuition might be less at the new school so you need less financial aid... 2.) The school you are wanting to transfer to might not be given as much financial aid from the gov't and 3.) they might have given out a majority of financial aid they did get 4.) depending on the type of financial aid you are getting (gov't or private) they might not offer as much private financial aid
