I am a very competent, I may even say excellent, C and Assembly language coder and grasped all aspects of these languages with ease. In my new job I am being taught the 4th Generation Language called "Progress" which apparently is very easy to learn and develop in. If this is this case then why am I finding it so excruciatingly difficult to learn and understand, to me it seems completely counter intuitive when compared with the simplicity, consistency and dare I say beauty of C and Assembly. Is there something wrong with me or has someone else experienced this?
