Why do i feel this way after no sex for 6 months?

I'm 22, and didn't have sex for 6 months until last week.
Since then, my vagina/vulva area has felt very irritated, with itching and some burning.
There is no discharge, so I don't think it's a yeast infection..
Has anyone else experienced this? What do you think this is? Is it possible it's not related to having sex after so long?

I don't believe it's a big deal. It's just irritated from sex. Every once in a while after sex, my girlfriend will say 'my crotch is burning" or "it's all red and sore". That's when I know I did a good job :) JK....It's just irritation from rubbing,slapping, grinding etc. How long does it last? Not days I hope?
 
You can have a yeast infection and not have discharge. My vluva itched so bad for years! I thought it was due to soaps, but it turns out it was a yeast infection. I had no discharge either. You could also have contracted an STD. I'd get checked out by a doc if I were you.
