Why do I constantly feel sick, specially after exercising?

It seems any time I do some sort of exercising, specially outside like running, I feel sick afterwards. I feel like I caught the flu or something. I feel sick for a day or two and then I'm fine again. I know for sure that I'm not pregnant so it isn't that. Yesterday I did a little exercising, some push ups, sit ups and by the afternoon I was feeling sick and running a 101 degree temp. I have been unemployed for almost two years now as well so I don't know if maybe it's depression that's plaguing me or if there really is some kind of serious illness that's plaguing me. Any ideas???
