Why do I always have to click "run as administrator" in order to use Photoshop CS4?

A friend of mine gave me his photoshop to install, and everytime I want to use it now, I have to right click on the file and click "run as administrator" and type in my moms password for her user account. Is there any way that I can make it so that I don't have to keep clicking 'run as administrator"?

I've tried making my account an admin. but it didn't help, I still had to right click and click "run as admin"
and yes, I have vista..
 
Check you're definitely an admin. Might be that you're not totally an admin. Also, are you on windows? Vista/7/XP? That might help. I imagine vista, which is a pain. So... Create a new account as an admin maybe. See if that works.
