Why do "green" people demand we move to renewable energy...?

then turn around and block when those types of energy generation stations are being built?

First we hear that we need to use solar energy but we can't put up enough panels because it might ruin the habitat of some minor plant or animal.
Then we hear we need to use wind energy but as soon as someone installs one it gets declared an eyesore or a noise violation.
Tidal station? Not while the Kennedy's own shore line property
Nuclear? Oh no!!! That's the devils power source.

Tell me how can we possibly win with all the silly restrictions that the "green" among us want to arbitrarily apply.

Why not have a renewable enrgy source without causing harm to habitats? Ex. Solar panels can be placed on peoples roofs or in their yard. Windmills? Well they are an eyesore and they only create very little energy so they need to stop. I recently went to the San Wonkeen valley in California. Theu have alot of windmills their, a few thousand. Those windmills only create enough energy to power 1.5 homes in the valley (about 50,000 homes). I gues if there weren't alot of homes then windmills would be ok. For nuclear energy, I'm not for it but I am not against either. Since my brother is a nuclear engineer I really can't be against. It does create alot of clean enrgy with little effort.

The extreme green people need to think before acting. I have plenty of alternatives to avoid such risks. They are very simple.

No matter what we do someone is going to complain. Its important to weight these things and find out which is better and will cause the least harm.

Oh and Nuclear Power is the Devil's power source. =P

It's kinda like when you break one of these new light bulbs and release toxic mercury. How is that environmentally friendly? They have no idea what they are talking about. They take Al Gore's word for it. What does he know? Oh I forgot he invented the internet. I have seen no empirical evidence of globull warming. Since most of the "greenies" are hemp sucking sheep they will follow anybody or anything.
It's all great till they want to put it in their backyard.
