Why do girls complain about other girls?

i see so many questions, about girls complaing about their friend or anybody for that matter, my girlfriend does it, she cant explain it, can you?
 
when i b*tch its notmally to my bestfriend. we love talking and picking out our other friends flaws. its fun, to see what others think, and to know your not strange to see that "she had so much make-up on the other day!, it looked like a cake" or watever.
its also fun. all girls do it. i dont do it to hurt them or watever... cause you know, they are doing it about us aswell haha!
i just think its an insecure thing, makeing ourselves feel better. thats all
 
yeah, it's either jealousy or we're just bitter. i complain about my roommates who are girls and say they are this, that and the other even though we are friends. really i'm jealous of them because they both have great boyfriends and i don't. isn't that stupid.
 
A lot of times it's jealousy. They usually won't admit it but usually if they think about it that what it is. So therefor, they have to find something wrong with the person they are talking about. Sometimes, they feel they have to point out the bad things about a person to make themselves feel better or so possibly you won't want to hang out with that person more then you will them. Sometimes it's hereditary. Just to complain all the time. Maybe that's how her mom is.
 
I get annoyed with other girls because many are extremely vain, rude, conceited, nasty, and slutty (at least at my college).
I had a hard childhood, grew up fast, don't judge a book by it's cover although I am aware most people do, everybody tells me I am extremely nice, and I don't believe in "hooking up" or acting like a bitch to people for no reasons.
Anyways, sometimes I complain to my boyfriend about these girls because they are so annoying! They lie, cheat, throw up all over, sleep around, swear every-other-word, and then act like perfect little angels around teachers or parents. Ughhh and they act like idiots around every other guy.
