...evolution? and stem cell research ?...are their pea-sized brains not able to comprehend the most basic evidence that shoots down their shallow religious beliefs?

That's odd, because I seem to recall several of the evangelical groups endorsing the whole global warming fight. They are also very much in favor of stem cell research, just not necessarily embryonic stem cell research. As we all know (at least I hope WE do), adult stem cell research has made vast gains over the last several years, even more so than embryonic research.

Somehow, I tend to doubt whether or not you actually comprehend what being an evangelical truly means. You seem to have some confusion in that respect. The only folks who don't believe in evolution of some fashion are the hard fundamentalists. They shouldn't be confused with evangelicals.

Actually, it has been shown that adult stem cell research is better than any other so far. Evolution even with the latest find, still doesn't proof any direct link where one species evolved into another. Finally, there is more scientific proof that natural effects have as much if not more control over the climate than the minor greenhouse gases that the climate scientists want us to believe.

It is the people who believe without question to either side that has pea-sized brains.

Those are not evidence. Science is only theory. It's real until someone proves it incorrect. people aren't stupid because they don't believe what you do. And they do have evidence, they have faith. U have faith that it's true right? Now I don't agree with eveything even though I'm a christian. I do believe dinosaurs existed because the bible is not a history book

Evangelicals base their beliefs on blind faith not reason. Therefore they cannot be reasoned with using logic.

And jim I don't think he was implying that all AGW skeptics are like creationists or vehement pro lifers. Just that if one happens to fall in that specific group of people known as evangelicals then they will very likely hold all of those opinions on these other issues. I'd agree. You don't have to be a bible nut to be a creationist (or "ID proponent"), against stem cell research, or be an AGW skeptic. But show me a single fundamentalist who does not share all three of those views.

All religious denominations are pathetic. They refuse to accept any truth because it doesn't go with "gods" plan. They are too ignorant to think for themselves and when something occurs that they don't like or agree with, they ignore it.

isn't pat robertson big on the whole 'climate change' deal? i've heard lots of christian folk are buying right into it.

anyway, people are allowed to believe whatever they like. you'll just have to learn to deal with it. stop being a fascist.

Your attempt to link skeptics of your dubious claim that humans have caused the planet to significantly or harmfully warm with those who don't support stem cell research or evolution is completely without merit. I wonder if you even know that Bush supported stem cell research and even supported federal money to be spent on a limited line of available cells. Because he wasn't as zealous about it as some doesnt' mean that he was against it. Insulting religious people isn't an argument. It is simply an insult. Is that all you got?

Note: Wrong Dawai, he obviously is trying to link them.
