My due date is December 29, 2011. Now the first date of my last cycle was March 25, 2011 which is how they got the date by counting 40 wks ahead but how can this be accurate? I conceived around the second to last week of April and I know this because I had sex Easter April 24th and missed my next cycle which would have began between the 25th and 28th. So again, how can I be due that early and why do doctor's still go by the last cycle date anyway?
Why do doctors go by cycle date and not conception date when calculating pregnancy due date?
