why do "constitutional" conservatives forget about the rest of the bill of rights?

republican and democrap may be manufactured but individuals will lie somewhere on the general left right spectrum, just rarely 100% on either side
 
The 8th doesn't provide for comfy jails, it merely provides protection from torture and vindictive treatment for the sake of punishment. I'd argue it would permit enhanced interrogation if there was a pressing and real need
 
Nobody really gives a shit about the constitution, sadly. Both sides just use and abuse it to rationalize their points of view while claiming to love it.
 
The way I see it is this:

People on the far left are typically mad because The Constitution upholRAB things that they hate or don't generally feel are necessary because they love to complain. The people on the far right try to look at everything from a religious point of view which is why they attempt to fuck things up all the time.


CliRAB: Republicans and Democrats are annoying roadblocks in the path to a reasonable country.
 
In the early days of this country, it wasn't common to see the states brazenly trying to violate what should be guaranteed rights for every American.

Now, more than ever, it's important to tell the states to fuck off when they try to infringe on one's right to free speech, own guns, be secure in his person, etc.

You're a deluded fool if you think otherwise.
