...scrutiny as they do alternatives? I want a good economy with plenty of good paying jobs. If I can't have that; I at least want to make sure everyone is ok and secure from predation.
I don't care how this is accomplished. Therefore I give everything the same level of scrutiny; I only care about the outcomes. Omelets require broken eggs, after all.
Conservatives, are you of the same view? Or do you allow sensibilities get in the way?

You are so badly educated that it's impossible to debate your issues. Conservatives are in the middle of the political spectrum. Liberal progressives are very far left of center. So is socialism and fascism as well as communism. Liberals never examine their ideas even though we know that throughout history their ideas have failed every time they've been tried.

Read a history book.
 
If you want a good economy with plenty of good paying jobs you must allow those creating the jobs to get rich.

You don't need to break eggs or bones. You don't need to be predatory.
Just let job creators profit from the creation of jobs.

I also wonder why liberals are unable to look at socialism in a critical way. Instead they just accept everything that seems good about it, and ignore the details involving how it is actually accomplished. They look at the ends and ignore the means, in other words.
 
We already do. That's how we became conservatives - by examining the failing policies favored by the left and realizing that they are morally bankrupt, damaging to the Constitution, economically unsound and usually caused far more harm than good.

That's also why we are so good at picking apart the policies you espouse, because we discarded the same ones when our experience, knowledge and wisdom helped us see they did not work.

And you could not ask the same of liberals? We have 9.1 unemployment, a weak economy and a lousy housing market. This all happened under liberal democrats. When will it be time to examine the ideas we see failing now?
 
A "good economy" is one based on capitalism not redistribution. We will soon, under the Obama Plan, be completely reliant on the government for all our needs and at 1/3rd on entitlement and a 22% increase in food stamp applications, we are well on our way! The one "good thing" about not drilling domestically or EPA-curtailment of natural gas, coal, and other resources is that when we finally fold under a system that in the past fails and fails again and again, sometimes with disastrous results, our country will be ripe for mining by China, Russia, or both! To continue to call failure a "success" for purely political reasons is to quote a wise man "illogical".
 
I like the way you know the way that OTHER people think! It really makes a ton of sense!

EDIT: Also, the sign of a truly stupid person is one who tells people what they think, then criticizes that.
