Greetings to all,
The concert ends and the pianist or violinist, etc. of the concerto receives the applause, bows, and then walks of the stage with a mission. Then comes back onto the stage and receives more applause, then again, walks off the stage. This repeats 3 times or so.
Why?
Isn't it humble to receive one round of applause and leave for good? I feel that to receive 2 or 3 rounds of applause is elitist and borderline arrogant. But that's just my opinion ;-0
