Why do colleges send out brochures?

It was just expanding on their college and majors and opportunities
I don't think I requested information, but a couple days ago, I got a letter from George Fox University about how "great" their college is and all that other stuff.
Should I be interested in applying there? Would it be beneficial?

Lets use common sense to answer this question shall we :]
First of all every university and college wants to stand out from the rest of the bunch so that's why they send you brochures yeah... so far so good yeah!

Also when picking university you should do your own research about the university it self and not just accept what they give you or send out to you.

First of all look at your degree or course and look up HOW each university or college offers it. Also one more important point is also look at the other stuff the university or college offers yeah, not just academic wise, but social life and employment etc....

Good luck :)
