WHY DO CHRISTIANS QUOTE THE BIBLE WHEN DEBATING RELIGION WITH ATHEIST ?

Don't you understand that most Atheist do not hold what is written in that book, by men who picked over what they wanted to be placed in there for you to worship, They simply don't believe that it is a source of proof that a Supreme Being Exist. Every time you quote a bible verse they snicker because you are proving their point that you cant think for yourselves.
 
Dude. I love it when they say THE BIBLE IS TRUE! Is says so IN the bible!

Well that is precisely WHY we quote the Bible; so as not to appear that we are contriving arguments, reason, and facts.

Since when do atheists like independent thought? You guys laugh and snicker because there are 50,000 different churches and we seem to fight each other more than anybody else.

So then for Christians that stick to a systematic theology from the Bible (that comes at great expense in time studying and thinking) you dont respect that either and label it "not free thinking." I guess theres no way to earn your guys' respect is there?

And Im SURE that youre a free thinker when it comes to the creation of the universe, planet, and human species right? You dont FALL IN LINE with that DARWIN teaching of evolution like ALL ATHEISTS do you? Oh my that would not be very good free thinking to simply follow the crowd like a mindless sheep!
 
they cant use logical arguments, they cant use empirical evidence, they cant use standard refutations of arguments.

they can however copy paste large amounts of scripture.
 
Well to me if I were a mechanic and you came to me and asked me how to fix your engine and I opened up my text book on how to fix and engine and read it to you, to help you, do you really think you would snicker at me?

The Bible has to do with what the Lord is all about. The reason that Atheists snicker is because they have no manners, and they are haters of anything good.
I do not really care if they do not like having to read the scriptures that are posted.
I just wish they would go answer questions that pertain to their hateful ways,and their hate ridden ideas.
I have yet to see one of them speaking kindly to anyone. They spew hate and they love it.
 
first rule of the bible is trust God. God says the bible is fullproof. you prove nothing. aimless shots (weak too) when the target is too high to hit. give up and go to him. its almost like atheist are saying we are ok becuz we still try to be good, we are still people too even though we lack faith. noone will snicker if you go to hell cuz of your disbelief. not me, not God, and not you. well, the demons will be laughing but why do you want to hear there laugh. why would you not want to believe. you would think that "hmm lemme be on the safe side in case he is real and follow him"
