walking around...? But never care to look around for giants, fiery talking serpents, talking donkeys and many other mythical creatures that are described in the Bible?
I don't believe fiery talking serpents are biblical. As for giants, there are many living today. Look at the world's tallest man. He'd be considered a giant. And those mythical creatures of revelations are symbolic only.
Why do Christians argue against evolution by asking to see half-ape, half-men walking around, but never care to look around for giants, fiery talking serpents, talking donkeys and many other mythical creatures that are described in the Bible?
--I believe that's called the double standard, or something.
Why would I argue against evolution? You act as if acceptance of evolution is some rite of passage. Evolution just is. I accept that evolution just is, but why do you think that it should erode my faith in God. Evolution is a process it is not apart of the big picture.
Because most believe in magical mythical things, all the while not knowing anything about evolution or how slow of a process it is.
Besides, most never do any real research themselves. They've only regurgitated what they've heard from someone ignorant of the facts too. And that includes the Bible & evolution.
