I find this strange because in Japan they drive on the left hand side of the road and have there steering wheel on the right, why does this change in anime?
I've seen it on quiet a few anime's yeah, some have been rich cars, but that shouldn't matter because in England they get the cars to have right hand drive still, so doing this in anime should be no problem? Also I am watching death note and one of the police cars I saw the officer was driving on the left,
