Why do camp guys act the feminine way they do?

What's the reason for this act? Yes it is an act, you're not born being camp.
Fezzie, I disagree with you I don't believe anybody's born mean or evil, it's about our upbringing that shapes us, I do believe people are born gay but camp seems like it's an act, i don't see how camp people could have been born that way.
 
You're right about it not being how they were born, but it is about how their mind developed. It's the same way for any person's characteristics.
 
its just apart of their personality. like some guys like sport, some dont or some people like pepsi, some like coke. some people are born mean and some are raised like it.
 
Actually you are. You grow up with the voice you have. And your actions. Some people are born to be cruel and mean, and others nice and jolly. That is why there are all types of different gay guys.

Camp is an act, but some people are naturally feminine. This is regardless of their sexuality. People don't seem to believe it, but gender and sexuality are not the same thing.

I think that for some people, camp is just having fun. It's not the same thing as being feminine.
