Why do blacks on here make excuses to whites why theres a Black History Month?

Why cant the conversation end with...Because we want one..Why feel guilty about this?

Why give this tired line that the other 11 months are white history when thier not. Everything that "whites" did in history blacks have done too, so its hardly white history...We learn nothing about the specific ancestors of whites (i.e. German-Americans, Irish-Americans, Italian-American)..Most American history is English-American...
Aralis, you must went to a sub-par school..I went to a predominatly white school and our black history was intertwined in our American history class...We even learned about the personal stories of black soliders..In fact you cant really teach the first 200 years of American history without Black history

Thats my point...Blacks are so guilty we have a black history month they have to find meaning why...

I dont see why people think like this..We have it because we want it..end of..

You have a great point. Most of our history IS English.We don't learn anything about the irish, italians etc. except in world history.
 
i do not make excuses every race should have a holiday, like asians, they better get a paid holiday in this country for asians
