I was thinking of putting up a question titled "why do black people think Jesus was black?" , when it suddenly hit me . I realized that although my question was an innocent one , i felt myself starting to brace for the soon to come torrent of angry and hate filled responses . I realized that if i asked a Japanese man something about a custom they have, or why they do or think about things in certain ways , he would just respond to the question to the best of his knowledge and that would be the end. But if i say "black people ...." , i am sure to be barraged with insults . Why is having a debate with black people about cultural and other race related issues off limits , unless i am prepared to get insulted ?
Example. If i ask a Japanese person why Japanese person bows as a greeting and what it means. he will just answer and not give me anything about " YOURE A RACIST ! NOT ALL JAPANESE PEOPLE ARE THE SAME !!!" He would know that its just a question and answer
The reason "black" wasnt capitalized is because
"black" isnt a nation as where "Japan" is . Secondly , if i did, then someone would say "HEY ! WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO "CAPITALIZE" OFF MY PEOPLE!" j/p .
