Why do Black People complain they are Poor?

I always see black people complaining how they are soooo poor and can't afford anything, but I always see them wearing Brand Name Clothing!? This is so weird =/ I had a black classmate who claimed he was sooo poor, but he wears clothes like Sean John, Roca Wear, Ecko, etc etc, and he wears Jordan retros....

Then on the other hand I see Caucasian guys wearing clothes from Wal-Mart. I myself a Canadian could only afford that crappy welfare brand "Exco" They copy fubu, ecko styles....its like a ripoff crap brand but it was so cheap....I don't wear it anymore but yeah....

Why black people complaining they so poor? I always see them smoking some Marijuana, isn't marijuana supposed to be expensive? Like maybe if they saved up their money they could afford to buy a TV or something instead of complaining they so broke that they can't afford to even buy a couch

(not trying to be racist here, so don't give me that racist statement crap! I'm just trying to be realistic)
great just great.....rite when I start asking a question about black people, the king of pop dies....anyways RIP MJ, still guys this question has nothing to do with Michael Jackson.
 
If they can afford to buy Jordans, than they are not poor. They are just people who spend their money on dumb stuff and don't know how to manage it. It's all about being smart and budgeting. I know people who will spend their whole pay check on a pair of Gucci shoes and they live at home with their mothers. That's not being smart, it's being stupid. Those kind of people would rather maintain social status just on their looks alone. Those Jordans will be played out in another two months, then it's time for a new pair. What's the point?

Poor people don't spend their money on things they don't need.
