...signs say no peds/bikes/etc? I've been riding my bike around the northeast and I'm starting to get sick of this controlled access BS. There is no other way over the Thames River than the gold star memorial carrying 95 and US Route 1. The signs not quite at the bridge but at the intersection of 12/1 and 95/1 on the east side have the no bikes/pedestrians/horses signs. I can see a stop light and businesses on the road up the ramps so in an hour or two (1-2 am-the middle of the night) I think I can get across without trouble.
The road has a bike/sidewalk on it; the southbound bridge does. It is after midnight now. I am on a computer in the Super 8 lobby right near the on ramp with the sign. No one has said anything to me yet.
